I've been very happy with this Command Hook! We had a new handsome front door installed which we've enjoyed, but at Christmastime I've really missed putting up a decorative wreath (not wanting to put a nail in the door). The idea of seeing if this "hook" would work to support a wreath without leaving marks or holes in the door after removing the hook, sounded good but was uncertain if it would do all it advertised. Am pleased to say it works exactly as promised with not a single mark left behind!

not shiny like picture, holding great even on a slight texture
so far only disappointed in the graphite color- it is a med-dark flat grey, not metallic looking at all as picture appears, and does not match my decor as intended (another reviewer posted a picture that shows accurate color.) i use it inside my fifth wheel rv, but wanted the outdoor version for added durability- for use in bathroom, and even though we live in it full time, just in case the rv ever has to sit unplugged it gets really hot inside. i think my walls are a type of paneling that has the feel of a slightly textured linen-look wallpaper, and so far even with that slight texture it is holding my 2.2# robe fine over night at around 77 degrees. i only ordered 1 to try my heaviest item on to see how it does, it is my intention to put several up in a row for hanging clothing items, but i will not be ordering more of this color, and will have to remove this one eventually because the dark grey is an eyesore with my brown/beige decor.

Difficult to hang but staying up
By AY in NY
I followed the instructions to hang this hook and first applied the sticker to a clean surface. When I tried to slide the front hook from the back panel, to apply extended pressure per directions, it took multiple attempts to get them apart. It took so much force to separate them that I was about to give up, when the back panel came unattached from where I'd hung it and the pieces separated, instead of sliding apart easy as they should have. I've used numerous Command hooks and have never had such difficulty. On the plus side, it has stayed up for 1 week outside. I used it to hang up the hook for my dog's tie line (since I have difficulty bending to retrieve it from the ground). It looks unobtrusive and works for this simple task. I will update about its durability.
Update: 2 months later, it is still up.
