Here’s cordless convenience with the power of Toro. The 24-volt battery is as hungry as any gas-powered engine, but there’s no pull-cord hassle at startup, no running out of oil/gas mix, no fumes, no cords to lug. Just powerful trimming and edging in a lightweight workhorse. The bump-feed head supplies just the right length of 0.65 line whether you’re trimming or edging. Toro’s best innovation on this model is building two triggers into the handle, so the trimmer becomes an edger just by turning it over. Toro's new 10" cordless trimmer/edger has a powerful 24-volt battery that gives it the power to rival the performance of a gas powered unit, without the hassle of mixing gas and oil or having to worry about whether or not it will start. This unit also features new innovations that make edging even easier and give the homeowner greater control when trimming around the garden. First, the trimmer has a dual trigger so that the user merely flips the unit over to begin edging. An auxiliary handle provides support while edging. Second, the trimmer has adjustable cutting width. Set the trimmer at 10" while edging, and the wire form on the front of the unit acts as an edging guide, helping the homeowner edge in a perfectly straight line. However, when trimming around the garden, or other delicate areas, the trimmer can be set at 8" and the wire form will act as a vegetation guard (i.e., the line will not extend beyond the wire form). The 10" cordless trimmer has a run time of up to 45 minutes per charge and comes with a wall mount charging station. It weighs 12 pounds and comes with an adjustable soft grip handle and a shoulder strap for comfortable operation. The unit features Toro's patented bump-feed system, no-tools spool replacement and comes with a 2-year full warranty.
