This fan’s chrome styling has a film-noir look that will keep you classically collected despite the heat. Holmes’s 12-inch oscillating fan easily converts from a stand fan to a table fan, via a quick turn of a nut on the pole. Unlike some of the company's other convertible fans, this one doesn’t have just three height settings--it has an infinite amount anywhere between 12 and 32 inches. The fan head features a classic chrome metal design and a high-performance metal fan blade. We especially liked the fan’s three comfort control settings and wide oscillation sweep, and could picture ribbons or tinsel tied to the grill to create a classic summer scene. The fan’s wide base includes a weighted removable insert for stability. Crafted from chrome with black poly accents, the fan has a three-year limited warranty. --Ariel Meadow Stallings
