Good but special purpose stuff
By S. Thistledorf
If you are duct taping something in the attic you better know that regular duct tape will deteriorate in about a year. Regular duct tape is not made to take the heat. This kind of duct tape will last for many years. Check back with me in about ten years and I'll give a better estimate of its longevity in a hot Louisiana attic.

Excellent for covering unused heating vent
By Karolee K. Aspin
I has looking for something to cover an unsed heating vent. I had been using regular duct tape but once it got hot it would start to peel off. I taped the vent up with this tape about a month ago and it's working amazingly well. I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this tape, for a temporary fix to my vinyl top. Well after a few days in the hot sun, the tape wrinkled up. So i had to remove it. I guess for some things the tape will work fine.
