    5Overall good wood protectant
    By Mach
I really enjoy working with this product and use it to protect all indoor furniture I have built that will get minimal daily abuse. Used with oil based stain and over water based paints. Definitely low smell and easy cleanup. I recommend at least 3 coats. Also a high quality synthetic brush is a must, it makes a huge difference in application.

    5polycrylic varnish
    By mark /nebraska
I have used this product for over 25 years and use a oil base stain and it works great as a companion product. I have always used a HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray system with a minimum of two coats on low traffic parts of cabinets, two coats on the back side of raised panel doors and three coats on the front side of the cabinet doors. I also spray three coats on cabinet finished ends.I have also used this on interior hollow core doors and interior solid core 6 panel doors. These doors get three coats on both sides. I have never used this with exterior doors exposed to the sun. I would guess that the sun's UV rays would probably deteriorate the varnish. All in all, I have always loved this product because of easy spraying, easy cleanup , non explosive, and durability.

5Easy to appy and fast to dry
    By Alex
This is good stuff, quick to dry and low odor. I use the 'shortcut brush' (I'll help out Amazon here, as they always do things to help me)

    https://www.amazon.com/Wooster-Brush-Q3211-2-Shortcut-Paintbrush/dp/B002YC06T2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1466894438&sr=8-1&keywords=shortcut+brush

I'll do a coat, wrap the brush up in a wet cloth, wait a little while (15 min's here June in the South) and unwrap the shortcut and do another coat.
You can do multiple coats quickly like that. I do minimum of 4 coats. That sounds like a lot, but after the first coat, it takes very little product to do additional coats. On end cuts of wood where it pulls in more I do 5 or 6 coats.
