To obtain ultimate performance from the JDS Dust-Force, a 1 micron canister kit is an available option. The filter material in the canister is made of spun-bond polyester and is capable of filtering dust particles down to 1 micron in size. This pleated filter contains more than 5 times the filtering surface area of a standard bag filter. To clean it you simply turn the handle 120 degrees. A cleaning flapper inside will shake the dust from the filter allowing it to fall directly into the bottom plastic collection bag. A support bracket is also included to accommodate the additional weight of the canister.
