This kit by Milwaukee is generally referred to as their "decking kit," since it is most often used for deck installation projects. Professional drywall installers also use it (although they may prefer a higher-speed model). Operating at 2,500 rpm, Milwaukee's screw shooter handles deck and drywall installations with ease. It has a comfortable, ergonomically designed grip, balanced design, and a quiet fan (quiet is nice, especially during extended use). The screw shooter's pop-off nose locator maintains the micro depth adjustment even when removed and reattached, so it's easy to accurately drive screws all day. Another feature we applaud is the snap-action drive clutch, which prevents damage to the motor if the chuck jams during extreme use. When you're not installing drywall or decking, you can also use this tool as a general-purpose power screwdriver. There's also a handy hook on the shooter's top so you can clip it to your tool belt (instead of having to set it down every time). If you have a deck installation planned for the future, we highly recommend buying this tool instead of a standard power screwdriver. --Tim Block
