Looking for something more versatile and powerful than a router table without the size and expense of larger shapers? This Router/Shaper has a powerful 9 amp induction motor for smooth power without the whine of a router. The up front controls are also more convenient than a router table since there is no need to reach underneath for adjustments. The two-piece, fully adjustable fence allows quick and simple set up and can be adjusted for minimal clearance around the cutter for safer operation. The fence is also removable for free hand work using the included guard. Though it comes standard with a 1/2-inch router collet and a 1/4-inch adapter, this unit can be used as a shaper with the 1/2-inch adapter spindle. Turning at 12,500 rpm, it can handle and routing or shaping application including panel raising. Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories. Includes router/shaper, fence with guard, free hand guard, starting pin, dust chute, table insert, 1/4- and 1/2-inch collets, wrenches, and instruction manual.
