This powerful 11 amp 2-1/4 HP Makita router kit features the quietest motor in its class along with fixed and plunge bases that are convenient and simple to use. The router has a variable speed control dial (8,000-24,000 rpm) to match the speed to the materials. An electronic speed control circuitry monitors and maintains rpm during operation, and a soft start feature means smooth and flawless start-ups. This router sports a rugged aluminum motor housing with slender 3-1/4" diameter for easy handling, and a durable flat top design for stability when changing bits. All ball bearing construction means longer tool life, and externally accessible carbon brushes mean easier maintenance. Your purchase includes plunge base assembly, 1/2" collet, 1/4" collet, two each wrench 27, wrench 8, and a #4 hex wrench. Other features include:
