When tool rest base extensions don't do the trick, use this heavy duty floor stand base. Often, when turning face plate work on the outboard side of the lathe, tool rest bases and extensions still don't provide enough reach. This floor stand is constructed of cast iron and provides a stable support for tool rests. It accepts tool rests with one-inch shanks and has a clamp that allows adjustment of the tool rest height. Includes one tool rest floor stand.
