So, you've finally decided to tackle that basement finishing job, and you're looking for a reliable framing nailer to help. Whether you're a contractor or do-it-yourselfer, if you have a lot of framing to do, this Porter-Cable framing nailer/compressor combo will save you time. The rugged, 3-horsepower "peak" 4-gallon side stack compressor (all accessories included) delivers 28 percent more usable air than comparable models--7.7 scfm at 40 psi and 5.3 scfm at 90 psi. The result: more powerful performance, fewer hassles, and fewer cycles when recharging the air. The nailer itself features a barbed nose, a nonmarring nose tip, and an adjustable depth of drive that lets you countersink your nails (standard 2- to 3-1/2-inch, 22-degree plastic collated, round-head stick nails) to just the right depth. Plus, an oil-free pump means no oil spillage, even in sloped or angled conditions. This complete everything-you-need package includes the compressor, framing nailer, 3/8-inch-by-25-foot hose, 1/4-inch male quick coupler plug with dust cap, oil, Teflon tape, fittings, Allen wrenches, and operator's manual. This side stack air compressor is a real workhorse with a new high-pressure design that provides 28-percent more usable air. This allows more run time before re-charging, and less down time. The powerful, three-horsepower induction motor runs on a 15 amp circuit and provides 7.7 SCFM at 40 PSI and 5.3 SCFM at 90 PSI. A higher airflow regulator starts the pump at 110 PSI and stops it at 135 PSI for more pressure and airflow. This means you get better performance from your air powered tools. A rugged roll bar protects the motor in case of tipping, and also houses a convenient console for the regulator, gauges, and two quick coupler outlets. The oil-free design allows operation on slopes and angles. Includes high-flow, high-pressure regulator. The framing nailer fires standard 22-degree plastic collated, round head stick nails from .113" x 2" to .131" x 3-1/2" and holds two nail strips at a time. A rubber footpad protects decking and sheathing, but can be removed to expose a barbed nose for easier toe nailing. An adjustable depth-of-drive mechanism allows matching the nail countersink depth to the application. Includes compressor, framing nailer, 3/8-inch x 25-foot hose, 1/4-inch male quick coupler plug with dust cap, oil, Teflon tape, fittings, Allen wrenches, and operator's manual.
