It features a powerful 3-1/4-horsepower, 15 amp motor and 3-3/4-inch base opening, allowing it to handle any routing task, including raised panels. A new Bosch-exclusive system easily defeats both plunge lock and plunge springs for effortless under-table depth adjustments--without having to buy expensive accessories! The motor features a variable speed range of 8,000 to 21,000 rpm (no-load), soft-start, and Constant Response circuitry that maintains speed under load. The plunge mechanism features dual plunge post bearings for smooth and accurate plunging action. The router's one-piece armature shaft provides accuracy and long bit shank capacity. The 1619EVS also has the Bosch-exclusive precision centering design for centering optional templet guides. Bit changing is easy thanks to the convenient front spindle lock. The unit includes the tool-free templet guide adapter, dust extraction hood with adapter for 1-1/4- and 1-1/2-inch vac hoses, 1/2- and 1/4-inch self-releasing collets, and comfortable drop-forged wrench.
