Offering convenience and mobility, and powered by an 18-volt motor, DeWalt's cordless plate joiner speeds through most everyday projects with ease. Its six-tooth, carbide blade makes smooth cuts in virtually any wood surface. While not as powerful as corded models, DeWalt's cordless does provide a number of features woodworkers are sure to find helpful, including special, antislippage pins which help reduce the natural tendency (found in many plate joiners) to slide to the right when making cuts. The result is better accuracy. The plate joiner also features an integral fence that adjusts to any angle from 0 to 90 degrees, preset depth stops with a maximum depth of 20 mm, and fine pinpoint rack-and-pinion adjustments.
