Hands Down the Best Multi-Purpose Stripper on the Market!!!
By Trevor Gemmer
Far superior to any other brand I've used, and don't even try to tell me that Klein is the best (that's just pure ignorance)... I'm the type of guy that will buy NWS when I already have Knipex, or I'll buy 4 or 5 different German-made slotted screwdrivers in different models all in the exact same size until I find the best one on the market, or I will buy the same plier in 3 different lengths to find the best balance of function and weight... the vast majority of my hand tools are made in Germany or Czech Republic.
With that being said, my opinion is that these are hands down the best wire strippers on the market for commercial and residential electrical work that I have seen & I'm fairly confident I've seen everything on the market. This is not designed or intended for automotive use, but there is simply nothing that compares to it for the electrcial industry (that is residential & commercial use). The Romex multi-strip does 14-2 w/ ground, and 12-2 w/ ground in the same die slot, and to my surprise, it works very, very well on both wire gauges, where the 3 or 4 Klein sets I've had have different slots for 12-2 & 14-2 gauge wires. For single wires, this thing does every wire diameter you will most commonly see (same range as most of your Kleins), and the shape of the jaws is better than the competition. I find the cutter equal or better than the competition in ease of use and durability. I much prefer the handle shape on the Crocs also, and the look of these is just different in a cool way (what other tool chooses to have black handles?), and the little yellow rings on these shown on Amazon have actually been upgraded to greenish white glow-in-the-dark rings that just makes these a little harder to loose, and easier to find in dark places. Man I love these things!
One down side... I don't have these pliers on me, but I'm fairly certain they only have screw shears for 8-32 & 6-32 screws, which are certainly the 2 most common sizes, but that is worth mention if you are the type that uses the 4-40 & 10-32 shears often (I certainl do not). Besides that small short comming, in my oppinion these are better than the competition in every other way (jaw shape, handle shape, performance, look, & best overall function in just one tool). This is an extremely well though out tool, and kudo's to whoever designed these things... I feel bad for the guy that these are not more popular because they certainly are a world-class tool. These are made in the USA like most electrical tools, and I think I had to superglue the handles because they wanted to slide a bit, so I recommend doing that if you notice any movement. Anyway, I couldn't love these things more, so I thought I should spend 5-10 minutes writing a review so more people can be aware of them. If you like the best tools in the world, I do try to write reviews on tools when I finally find that perfect tool, so check out my other reviews. I care more than I should, and I know the difference between great, and the best. Not everything is available on Amazon, but but many parts are.

this is the best stripper I have ever seen. The curved cutting blade is great for smaller stranded wire as it pulls the wire towards the middle while cutting instead of trying to flatten them out. Great product

Best wire strippers ever, much improved over my last Croc's set. The band on the grip is now glow in the dark and the handles and gauge stamping are marked for easier orientation (locking lever to thumb, left or right hand).
The best features to me are the accuracy of gauging, the romex stripper, the hand grips and having a 22 gauge (CAT5/5e/6) slot all on the same tool.
Be kind to this tool, wire cut copper only, don't use a twisting action on the pliers and these will give you years of service.
I took a red and black sharpie and alternately colored the gauge slots for fast indexing.
Best Electricians Wire Stripper ever!
