This is the best wiresless doorbell I have even owned.
I was always dissatisfied with any of the wireless doorbells you can buy at Lowes and Home Depot. Those do work, but the range tends to be low and the volume is even worse. The Tenswall doorbells are the best wireless doorbells I have ever seen. I highly recommend them. The Tenswall doorbell has excellent range. I put three chimes, 2 AC units and one battery chime throughout the house. The furthest chime is 4 rooms away and through 3 door and it still chimes when the door bell is pressed. The volume of the chimes is the highest I have ever seen. They can be set from a light barely audible sound to one that is very loud and nerve wracking, even one chime with the volume turned up can be heard throughout the house. The standard "ding dong" chime sound is the default but there are a myriad of different musical sounds including barking dogs and chirping birds. What I also really like about the chimes is the flashing LED light on the front of the unit. Anyone hard of hearing will be able to tell the door bell is activated by the flashing lights so even if the chime is set at the lowest level the flashing light will alert you.
Bottom line: if you want a wireless doorbell with great range and loud volume buy a set of these. I'm sure you will be as pleased as I am

Great as elderly Panic Button!! And awesome doorbell, too.
This couldn't be simpler to use, you insert batteries and then plug in the larger "bell" part and you're in business! The alarm is clear and loud, and you can set it to a variety of tones. I noticed a couple of reviewers said there wasn't a tone provided that they likes. If you can't find the tone you want from the over 50 that are offered, well, frankly, you might be too high maintenance. I mean, it's a doorbell. Remember back in the day when we were required to have the simple "ding-dong" and that was good enough? I originally bought these to be panic alarms for my bedridden husband because we couldn't be by his bedside 100% of the time. I got two sets and put one of the buttons on his hospital bed he slept in at home, and one in the bathroom. I was worried about him choking on a cord or necklace since he had dementia, but you could put the doorbell part on a cord or a wristband. I placed a bell outside on my patio, one in my bedroom (my husband preferred to sleep in the living room amidst all the action), one in central location in the house. The one I purchased came with one push button and two chimes - one chime was plug in, one was battery operated, so I could pick up the one on the patio and carry it all around the yard. I purchased two sets and I was set. When hubby couldn't get out of the bed anymore, we moved the push button that was in the bathroom and put it on the front door. This suited our needs much better than one of those life alert things that calls an ambulance and that you have a monthly fee. Someone was always home with him, whether a family member or a caregiver, so he could just press a button if he needed a drink or just felt scared in the night. As his condition worsened, I added a baby monitor that had two way speakers so I could hear him and I could tell him I was on my way to him so he would feel better while I was on my way to him. My sweet, beloved husband is no longer with us, but these gave him a much better quality of life the last year of his life.

because for the money I guess it isn't bad. The range is ok
Ok, my review may be kind of harsh for a 20 dollar product, because for the money I guess it isn't bad. The range is ok, and it does work........but with the 2 receivers the, the sound of the chimes are way out of synch........but that is not the worst part.
Hands down the worst part about this doorbell is the sounds! It seems like there are about 50 different chimes on it.........All of which are TERRIBLE. The best one sounds like a terrible version of a early seeing eye door chime from a low rent liquor store. Not only are they all bad, but to sort through them to set the sound, you have to go through all of them to get back to the one that you want. This might not sound like a big deal, but when there are so many to go through it is a pain in the rear.
I have opted to keep it because it does work and felt it wasn't worth the hassle of sending back.............but I've got my eye out for something different. Hope this helps
