Sanding, shaping, and polishing curved stock is tricky work, but not with this bench grinder/sander from JET. This 8-inch industrial bench grinder comes equipped with a 2-inch wide, 36-inch long abrasive belt with a 7-inch disc attachment. A belt speed of 5,000 SFPM and a disc speed of 3,450 rpm mean fast feeds and quick stock removal. A 4-1/4-by-10-inch table with miter gauge is great for handling larger stock. Powered by a 1 hp, 115-volt motor this machine sands, shapes, and polishes both flat and curved stock faster than any tool in its class. Designed for minimal heat build up and sporting a 5-second belt-change system, you get less downtime and more productivity. A highly accurate tracking system keeps the work in line for smooth sanding and finer outcomes, every time.
