The best just got better. Fast and powerful, with a 12 Volt (2.6 Ah, NI-MH) battery, this cordless impact driver runs up to 2X longer than competitive brands. The compact design has an overall length of only 6-5/8", yet weighs only 3.3 lbs. The "high-performance" Makita motor lasts longer and produces a maximum tightening torque of 887 in.lbs. (twice the power of most 18V Driver-Drills). The 6916 Impact Driver is equipped with externally accessible brushes for easy maintenance, a magnesium gear housing for greater durability, and an ergonomically designed rubber grip for improved operator control.
