This grinder is powered by a best-in-class 5.3 HP, 15 amp, 6,000 rpm motor which runs cool and efficiently to provide maximum power, even under heavy loading. For increased durability, the D28499X utlilizes an epoxy-coated motor to provide long life against abrasion from airborne debris. For enhanced ergonomics, the D28499X?s rear handle rotates 90 degrees, left or right, for cutting or grinding applications. Also, the D28499X includes both a 7÷ and 9÷ keyless guard and low-profile gear case for work in tight areas.
