Framing? This is combo you need. The nailer is one of the best on the market: it has sequential and bump-fire trigger mechanisms, a rugged aluminum magazine that holds two strips of nails at a time, and a slick depth-of-drive adjustment to match whatever job you're doing. A barbed nose makes no-slip toe-nailing easier and super accurate, and there's also a rubber foot pad sheathing and decking. You'll drive standard 2- to 3-1/2-inch clipped-head nails with practically no effort, thanks to a larger air chamber that boosts your drive power. Porter-Cable's ergonomic handle makes the 7-1/2-pound tool comfortable to use, and the rubber grip absorbs energy, leaving you with no fatigue. The 3-horsepower compressor is run by an induction motor and pumps out 7.7 scfm at 40 psi and 5.3 scfm at 90 psi. A rugged roll bar protects the motor, gauges, and high-flow regulator.
