The DW938 reciprocating saw powers through material with 0 to 2,800 strokes per minute and a 7/8-inch stroke length, faster than a 4 amp corded unit. The electric brake prevents blades from breaking when exiting a plunge cut. A pivoting shoe with an open top provides the user with maximum visibility. Blade changes can be made in just seconds with the lever action blade change, plus the blade can be reversed for flush cutting.
