The DeWalt DW983KS-2 combo kit contains two indispensable tools for any tool chest--a 1/2-inch drill/driver and a 5-3/8-inch trim saw. Built to handle virtually any application, both the drill/driver and trim saw utilize DeWalt's 14.4-volt XR battery packs. A DeWalt exclusive, the system combines unbeatable power with extended run time between charges. The trim saw weighs just 6-3/4 pounds, delivers 3,000 rpm, cuts to a depth of 1-1/2 inches, and provides a 0 to 50 degree bevel capacity. The drill/driver is also lightweight at 5.2 pounds, and offers three speeds--low, for maximum torque (400 in./lbs.); medium, for standard jobs; and high, for jobs that require a little extra speed (reaching up to 1,800 rpm, it's up to 29 percent faster than comparable models).
