The six-inch grinder is built for long, trouble-free life, with a cool-running, 1/3-horsepower induction motor with all ball-bearing construction. a cast-iron motor housing dissipates heat for extended operation. In addition to the weight of the motor, a cast-iron base with rubber foot pads dampens noise and vibration. Adjustable tool rests allow keeping the work surface close to the wheel as it wears. One tool rest even has a groove for sharpening drill bits. With the thin-line design, there is more wheel-to-motor clearance for working with long or curved workpieces.
