The saw comes with an electric brake, which prevents blades from breaking when exiting a plunge cut. It features a steel wobble plate and magnesium gear case for maximum durability, a rubber boot, handle, and trigger for maximum comfort, and a pivoting shoe with open top to provide optimal visibility. The blade reverses for upside-down cutting. The 14.4-volt battery interchanges with other tools in the 14.4-volt system.
