This 5500-watt generator from Porter-Cable features a 296cc Briggs & Stratton Vanguard Commercial Power engine for heavy-duty use, and will supply 8850 surge watts. Features like overhead valves, a cast-iron cylinder sleeve, and low-oil shutdown give this engine long life, quiet operation, and smooth running characteristics, and the recoil starter with compression release allows easy starting. The 7-gallon tank provides 10.4 hours of run time at half load and 7.0 hours at full load. An advanced, brushless alternator design provides longer life, cleaner power, and eliminates brush replacement. The convenient control panel houses the circuit breakers and electrical outlets. Receptacles include four 120-volt AC outlets and one 120/240-volt twist lock outlet to support a variety of tools and equipment. The included folding handles and 10-inch pneumatic tires allow for easy roll away portability. Two-year limited warranty on the alternator and engine, and one year on remainder. Package includes generator, folding handle pneumatic wheel kit, engine oil, twist-lock plug, and operating manuals.
